The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will begin bridge repair work on US 422 Eastbound between the Penn Street exit and the Lancaster Avenue exit from Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
Eastbound lane restrictions will be in place. Expect delays, and use caution when traveling through the area. Work is weather-dependent and may be delayed by rain.
The City of Reading encourages drivers to plan ahead and thanks the public for their patience during this PennDOT project.
