McKenna Valentine and Bethany Wagner have been named students of the month for December at Pine Grove Area High School.
McKenna Valentine is a daughter of John and Melissa Valentine of Schuylkill Haven. Her high school activities include varsity soccer, track and field, editor-in-chief of Cardinal Media, producer for PGAHS Broadcasting, Student Council (president), Class of 2024 vice president, Travel Club (vice president), National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll Journalism Honor Society, Aevidum advocate, SADD, FBLA, Diversity Club, Prom Committee, Varsity Club, and Yearbook Committee. McKenna plans to further her academic and athletic career at Lebanon Valley College and obtain her nursing degree.
Bethany Wagner is a daughter of Louis and Andrea Wagner of Pine Grove. Her high school activities include yearbook (editor), Quiz Bowl, SADD, National Honor Society, marching/concert band, chorus, County Chorus, Literary Society, and Art Club. Bethany plans to attend college (ideally Kutztown) to earn a degree in teaching for a currently undetermined subject.
