Police Reports, July 7, 2022

The following information comes from police reports and court records.

Crash: On June 25 at about 6 a.m. state police at Frackville responded to an accident in Wayne Township. John Davis, 28, Frackville, struck a deer along Route 183 near Navajo Drive. The SUV was not damaged and Davis was not injured.

Harass: On June 23 at about 9:50 p.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to a report of harassment at the Pilot gas station, 482 Suedberg Road, Pine Grove. During an argument between Pilot employee Cameron Wilson, 20, Minersville, and customer William Haldeman, 48, Pine Grove, Haldeman smacked Wilson in the face. Haldeman was charged with harassment.

Disorderly conduct: On June 20 at about 8:35 a.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to South Fourth Street in Tower City for a report of a dog law violation. A dog escaped from its property and killed or injured about a dozen domesticated rabbits and damaged property totaling about $1,000. The owner of the dog was found and charged. The investigation is pending court.

Drug possession: On June 15 at about noon state police at Schuylkill Haven initiated a traffic stop on West Market Street in Orwigsburg. Marlyn Glover, 30, Hamburg, was arrested when police found him to be in possession of marijuana and have an active warrant. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft: On June 4 at about 8:20 a.m. troopers from the state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Route 61 South in North Manheim Township for a theft from the men’s locker room of Planet Fitness. Items stolen included credit gards, a license to carry firearms, Fraternal Order of Police card, driver’s license, $600 and a black tri-fold wallet. The person of interest is described as a Black male about 20 years old and was known to wear a blue medical face mask and Philadelphia Flyers hooded sweatshirt. Police advise people to lock and secure any belongings at public places. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact PSP–Schuylkill Haven at 570-754-4600 and reference incident #PA2022-721985.

Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on June 3 at about 11:15 p.m. Jesse Fisher, 26, Pine Grove, was driving south on Hetzels Church Road in Washington Township when he suffered a medical emergency and passed out behind the steering wheel. His pickup truck struck a utility pole. Fisher was transported by Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Area EMS to Geisinger St. Luke’s for an evaluation. The pickup was towed from the scene.
