Police Reports, June 29, 2023

The following information comes from police reports and court records.

Crash: State police responded to a motorcycle accident in Norwegian Township on June 18 at about 4 p.m. Timothy Fetrow, 57, Minersville, traveling south on New Street, lost control of his motorcycle, which overturned. Fetrow was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital East for his injuries and further evaluation.

Crash: On June 15 at about 10:30 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 183 south of Lutz Road. in Wayne Township. A vehicle driven by Andrew Sohn, 40, Pine Grove, rear-ended a car driven by Marcus Slothour, 24, Schuylkill Haven. Sohn’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.There were no injuries.

Criminal Mischief: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to a report of criminal mischief. Between June 12 and 16 someone spray painted an orange X on the fence at W. Laurel St., Tremont.

Found Property: On June 8 at about 8:45 a.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven recovered two bikes found in the parking lot of the Red Lion Café, 697 Deturksville Road, Washington Township. Contact state police at Schuylkill Haven with any information on the owner.

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Millers Road in Wayne Township for a reported theft of a debit card. Through investigation police determined the card was used to fraudulently purchase more than $1,300 in merchandise and services between May 30 and June 5. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Schuylkill Haven at 570-754-4600 and reference incident #PA2023-751974.

Drug Possession: On May 16 at about 3:10 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven encountered a wanted person in the area of Spruce and Spring streets in Tremont. This person was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police are continuing the investigation.
