The following information comes from police reports and court records.

Fatal Accident: On Oct. 27 at about 4:30 p.m. state police at Frackville responded to an accident on Valley Road in Cass Township. William Flynn Jr., 60, Pottsville, was driving a pickup truck that collided with a motorcyle driven by Leonard Kristoff, 61, Pottsville. Kristoff was ejected from the motorcycle and landed in a gravel lot. Lifesaving measures were performed by EMS and fire personnel but were unsuccessful.

Disorderly Conduct: On Oct. 26 at about 1:15 a.m. state police at Frackville responded to the Dollar General located at 1005 Summer Valley Road in East Brunswick Township for four false alarms in the past 12 months. The business was cited for Control of Alarm Devices/False Alarms.

Crash: On Oct. 25 at about 6:10 p.m. state police at Frackville responded to an accident on Route 61 in Blythe Township. Bradley McKeone, 31, Pottsville, was driving at a high rate of speed when his pickup truck left the road, struck an embankment and overturned. The pickup was towed. McKeone was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for his injuries.

Theft: At about 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, state police at Frackville responded to Walmart, 35 Plaza Drive, Tamaqua, for a report of shoplifting. Store personnel said they spotted Ashley Bynon, 28, Tamaqua, leaving the store without paying for $155 worth of merchandise. She was found to have an active bench warrant for failure to appear for court in Carbon County. She was transported to Schuylkill County Prison. Charges were filed at District Court in Tamaqua.

Crash: On Oct. 19 at about 4:30 a.m. state police at Frackville responded to an accident in Kline Township. A car driven by an unnamed driver crossed into opposing traffic and struck a car drivin by Joseph Cooper, 38, Tamaqua. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. Cooper was transported to Lehigh Valley Hazleton Campus for his injuries. Anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to contact Trooper Michael Tomko, PSP Frackville, 570-874-5300.
