Police Reports, Nov. 24, 2022

The following information comes from police reports and court records.

Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 61 on Nov. 9 at about 6:20 a.m. Kim Leininger, 53, Schuylkill Haven, ran a red light at the jug handle north of Seven Stars Road in North Manheim Township. Scott Brenner, 63, Pottsville, struck Leininger’s car as he attempted to turn. There were no injuries. Both vehicles were towed.

Crash: On Nov. 9 at about 7:50 a.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 125 north of Camp Road. A white Dodge pickup truck crossed the double yellow line and its mirror struck the mirror of a van, causing the mirror to fold in and smash the driver side window. The driver of the pickup continued north on Tremont Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 570-754-4600 and reference incident number PA2022-1433325.

Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Nov. 9 at about 11:30 p.m. on Berne Drive in South Manheim Township. Lauren Versailles, 38, Auburn, struck a tree. She was transported to the hospital and was found to be under the influence of medication.

Crash: On Nov. 8 at about 9:10 p.m. state police responded to an accident on Route 901 north of Derr Road in Barry Township. Whitney Enterline, 31, Danville, struck a deer, causing disabling damage to her SUV. Enterline was not injured.

Crash: On Nov. 7 at about 11:40 a.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 901 south of SPCA Road. Ashley Huntzinger, 28, Auburn, was driving north when rocks fell on the road. Huntzinger was unable to avoid driving over them. Her SUV sustained disabling damage to the undercarriage as well as a flat tire. Huntzinger was not injured.

Crash: State police at Schuylkill haven responded to an accident on Nov. 6 at about 2:20 p.m. at the parking lot of Kings Village in Norwegian Township. A gray Nissan pickup struck the rear of a 2016 Subaru causing damage. The driver of the Nissan fled the area without exchanging information.

Theft: State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a reported theft of a utility trailer. The theft occurred sometime between Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. and Nov. 7 at 5 a.m. at S. Route 183 in Wayne Township.

Theft: On Oct. 30 an Orwigsburg man reported a theft. He told state police that on Oct. 29 at about 10:45 p.m. someone stole a Pennywise the Clown Halloween decoration, valued at about $180, from his front yard on Maple Boulevard in Deer Lake. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 570-754-4600.

Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an accident at Mount Carbon Arch Road and South Centre Street in Mount Carbon. On Oct. 30 at about 2 a.m. A vehicle driven by Emily Setlock, 25, Pine Grove, struck the right concrete bridge support barrier. The car had disabling damage and was towed. Setlock was not injured.

Criminal Mischief: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to reports of vehicles being vandalized along Pine Street in Auburn during the early morning hours of Oct. 29. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Buchhalter at 570-754-4600 and reference PA2022-1382875.

Possession Drug Paraphernalia: On Oct. 25 at about 3:15 p.m. Jordan Deiter, 35, Williamstown, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia while entering the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville. State police at Schuylkill Haven continue to investigate.
