Reading and Berks County Visitors Bureau’s new R&R Trail offers a self-guided journey designed to help participants slow down and reconnect with themselves. The thoughtfully curated trail is ideal for those seeking inspiration, self-care, and much-needed downtime. It guides users through a wide variety of experiences across Berks County, including cozy cafés, peaceful outdoor spaces, artistic encounters, and more.
With 19 unique stops, the new trail delivers a blend of wellness, creativity, shopping, nature, and interactive fun. Each location was selected to spark joy and encourage discovery of the region’s hidden gems. With an assortment of outdoor experiences, local artisan shops, and hands-on crafts, the trail invites exploration at a relaxed pace.
Information about the trail is available on the visitors bureau’s website and the Explore Berks mobile app. The app provides participants with directions, tracks progress, and allows them to learn more about each destination. The R&R Trail is designed to evolve throughout the year, with seasonal versions offering fresh experiences. The current summer edition is available through Sunday, Aug. 31.
Participants are also eligible to win trail prizes by visiting a designated number of stops. This adds an extra layer of fun and incentive for locals and visitors alike to engage with the trail and explore all that the region has to offer.
