The city of Reading has rescheduled its 6th Ward block party to Sept. 30.
The event in the 200 and 300 blocks of North Second Street had been scheduled for Saturday but was postponed due to the weather forecast.
The event is scheduled from noon to 7 p.m. and is being hosted by Mayor Eddie Moran and City Council.
The event will include food vendors, family-friendly activities and entertainment.
More than 50 vendors will be present offering products, food, resources and local services. Entertainment includes DJ Henry Houdini and a bounce house.
