Reading Liederkranz to Hold Frontier Feast

The Frontier Feast is one of the premiere foodie-music events in Berks County, and will be held on Saturday, March 29. Doors will open at 5 p.m. There will be a social hour with a cash bar from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The buffet will be open from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be music performances from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will be held in the outdoor grove area of the club.

Featuring bluegrass, folk, and mountain music by the ever-popular Dave Kline & The Mountain Folk Band, Frontier Feast, put on by the not-for-profit org G.T.V. Edelweiss, a group dedicated to preserving the folklore and traditions of alpine dancing, this event features home-cooked American frontier-style food served up in an all-you-can-eat buffet style.

The Reading Liederkranz is one of the oldest and largest German-American social clubs, located in Reading Pennsylvania with over 2000 members scattered across the world. Situated on top of Mount Penn in Berks County on more than 10 beautiful acres, the Liederkranz promotes and celebrates German culture as well as the countries who helped shaped German culture.
