From Widoktadwen Center for Native Knowledge
Widoktadwen Center for Native Knowledge, City of Reading Public Works, Keep Reading Beautiful, 18th Wonder Improvement Association, and Reading Rotary are teaming up for a cleanup effort in honor of the MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This year, we’re cleaning up the neighborhood surrounding the Reading Public Library main branch at 100 S. Fifth St. Dress for the weather, and bring a reusable water bottle. After the cleanup, meet us inside the library for a special storytime.
Tools, snacks, water, and hot chocolate will be provided to all volunteers. This event is rain/snow-or-shine. Free parking for volunteers, sponsored by Reading Parking Authority, will be available at the 6th and Cherry surface lot.
