Reading Rebels fall to Pennsylvania Kings 117-114

The Reading Rebels fell to the Pennsylvania Kings 117-114 in the third and final regular season meeting between The Basketball League Northeast Division rivals Friday in at the Geigle. The Kings (10-9) won both of the previous matchups.

Wilson grad Travaun Coad made the game-winning 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left for the Kings. Coad scored a team-high 26 points.

Aquille Carr scored a game-high 29 points for the Rebels (8-10). Reading High grad Trenity Burdine scored 25 points for Reading.

Berks Catholic’s Donovon Jack had a team-high 10 rebounds and scored 14 points.

Former Rebel and Reading High grad Gil Benz scored seven points in his return to the Geigle. Gov. Mifflin grad Steven Rodriguez had three points for Pennsylvania.

Kutztown University product Antonio Moore scored 14 points and had 11 rebounds for Pennsylvania.
