Penn State Extension of Berks County will host a virtual live webinar entitled “Fall into Gardening” on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Do you want to learn the secrets of a thriving garden? Join Master Gardeners for a webinar where you will learn about the benefits of a rain garden and how to use cover crops to improve soil health!

Who doesn’t want a beautiful, productive garden? Cover crops not only improve soil health but also boost your garden’s productivity. Meanwhile, rain gardens conserve water, reduce runoff, and create stunning, eco-friendly landscapes. Join Penn State Extension to discover the benefits and best practices for implementing these fantastic tools in your home garden! During our two-hour webinar, we will delve into the use of cover crops and the numerous benefits of incorporating a rain garden into your garden. Topics will include selecting, planting, and terminating cover crops, as well as managing water quality and quantity through the installation and maintenance of rain gardens to enhance and beautify the landscape.
