Scholarship opportunities, recipients in Berks

The Utilities Employees Credit Union in Wyomissing is offering a scholarship to mark its 90th anniversary.

The group is awarding a $3,000 scholarship and a $500 prize to two winners based on answers to the question, “How would you make a positive impact in your community with $1,000?”

PSEA awards

The Berks County Chapter of PSEA – Retired is taking applications for five $1,000 scholarships.

Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in a post-high school program or college/university and must be graduates of a Berks County school represented by the Pennsylvania State Education Association. The parents or guardians of the applicants must be members of PSEA.

NECA scholarship

Natalie Slusser, Fleetwood, won the Ronald E. Smallwood Scholarship sponsored by the National Electrical Contractors Association. She majors in neuroscience and psychology at Dickinson College, Carlisle.
