Berks County PSEA-Retired awarded $1,000 scholarships to five full-time students currently enrolled in a post-high school program or college/university who were graduates of a Berks County school represented by the Pennsylvania State Education Association and whose parents or grandparents are members of PSEA or PSEA-Retired.
This year’s recipients are Zoe Sweet, a Daniel Boone High School graduate studying political science and English at Widener University; Alyssa Himmelreich, an Exeter graduate studying math and physics at Ursinus College; Selia Werth, a Conrad Weiser graduate pursuing bachelor of biology and master of cardiovascular perfusion degrees at Carlow University;
Amalia Bradburn, a Wilson graduate in the physician assistant science program at St. Francis University; Carli Lynn Ronco, an Oley Valley graduate enrolled in the Global
Scholars Program at Albright College.
