The Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association and Schuylkill Conservation District are cooperating to sell quality seedlings. Tree seedlings increase property value, enhance wildlife habitat, beautify the landscape, improve the environment and can provide a source of income, organizers say.
All proceeds raised in the sale support Sweet Arrow Lake County Park near Pine Grove. It offers many recreational, social and educational opportunities for people of all ages.
Offerings are available for properties of all sizes.
Evergreens offered include Eastern White Pine and Norway Spruce. Hardwoods for sale include: Red Maple, Redbud, Red Oak, White Oak, Chestnut Oak, Sugar Maple, River Birch, Black Chokeberry, Bayberry, Silky Dogwood, and American Cranberry. These trees and shrubs will complement any mix of evergreens and are beautiful all year.

The order deadline is March 22 or until supplies last. Pickup date is May 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the large Waterfall Road Pavilion at Sweet Arrow Lake.
