Skimmers found on Royal Farms registers including Marple and Glenolden locations

Customers at area Royal Farms may want to check their bank statements after skimming devices were found on registers at locations throughout the Delaware Valley including in Marple and Glenolden.

Marple police report a skimmer was found Saturday at the Royal Farms at 2130 West Chester Pike.

Marple police said it appears the skimmer may have been placed on the register at least a week before its discovery.

Customers who may have made purchases at Royal Farms between Nov. 1 and 9 are encouraged to check their bank and credit card statements for any suspicious activity.

Local news outlets are reporting the skimmers have been placed at Royal Farms throughout the region.
