Class notes

Blue Mountain High School Class of 1959: Classmates and guests are invited to meet at noon on Wednesday, April 19, for lunch at 3C’s Restaurant, Route 61, near Port Clinton.

Spring Bird Walk: 9-11 a.m., Sunday, May 7, Sweet Arrow Lake, Waterfall parking lot, 48 Waterfall Road, Pine Grove. Barb Ritzheimer leads the walk. Participants will locate and identify resident and migratory species that inhabit the park. Program is free and open to beginning and experienced birdwatchers. Schuylkill Haven: Senior Citizens meet twice a month. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of the month at the Schuylkill Haven Senior Center, 340 Haven St., Schuylkill Haven. The next meeting is Monday, April 24 with entertainment by The DeLuca’s. The Schuylkill Haven Senior Travelers will be traveling to Pittsburgh on May 23- 25. Itinerary includes a stop at Flight 93 Memorial, then on to Pittsburgh for a cruise on the Gateway Clipper with entertainment and touring, dinner at P&LE Train Station. Next day U of Pitt Cathedral of Learning and more, Heinz Memorial Chapel, Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Falling Water” Creation. Earth Day

Horseback Riding

Therapeutic Riding: Lessons begin Monday, May 1, for eight weeks on Monday and Wednesday evenings and end in October. For children and adults with disabilities.
