The following information is taken from police reports and court records.

Hit and Run Crash: State police responded to an accident on Route 61 South in North Manheim Township on Oct. 31 at about 4 p.m. Hunter Grigas, 18, Auburn, was driving north when a pickup truck sideswiped his vehicle. The pickup was described as a silver lifted pickup with a pink Cummins sticker in its back window. The impact caused Grigas to rear-end a vegucke traveling in front of him. The driver of the pickup truck left the scene without notifying police. Anyone with information is asked to call 570-754-4600 and reference PA2023-1418421.

Crash: On Oct. 29 at about 4:30 p.m. state police responded to an accident on Route 183 north of Hurst Road in Wayne Township. Leonardo Orellana Molina, 48, Claymont, Del., lost control of his motorcycle and drove off the road. Orellana Molina was not injured.

Theft of Motor Vehicle: On Oct. 29 at about 2 a.m., state police responded to a three-vehicle accident in the area of Route 61 and Pine View Lane in West Brunswick Township. Before troopers arrived, a bystander, who stopped to assist at the accident, had her 2020 Jeep stolen. The person responsible for the theft was later located at a nearby residence and taken into custody. Police continue the investigation.

Crash: On Oct. 29 at about 5:40 p.m., state police were dispatched to an accident on Route 183 near Fire House Road in Wayne Township. Carli Ronco, 18, Reading, was driving too fast for conditions and rear-ended an SUV driven by Connor Monk, 20, Temple, causing Monk to rear-end a vehicle driven by Philip Reed, 40, Schuylkill Haven. Monk was transported to Geisinger/St. Luke’s by EMS for a suspected injury. Ronco’s and Monk’s vehicles were towed due to disabling damage.

Crash: State police responded to an accident on Route 183 in Wayne Township on Oct. 27 at about 4:30 p.m. Charles Tamburelli, 63, Seltzer, struck a deer. The vehicle had disabling damage to the front end and was towed.

Crash: On Oct. 27 at about 10:10 a.m., state police  responded to an accident on Route 209 in Porter Township. Lucas Watson, 29, Valley View, was driving west on Route 209 and struck an embankment. His SUV overturned and came to a stop facing north. The SUV had disabling damage and was towed.

Crash: On Oct. 26 at about 9:20 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 61 in North Manheim Township. Tony Hu, 28, East Providence, R.I., was stopped at a stop sign on the off ramp for Route 61 when his vehicle was struck in the rear by an SUV driven by Jeffrey Blankenhorn, 55, Pine Grove. Both drivers were transported by EMS for possible injuries. Blankenhorn’s vehicle had disabling damage.

Criminal Mischief: State police are investigating a report of criminal mischief at Pine Alley in Norwegian Township. A Schuylkill Haven man said someone damaged his 2009 Harley-Davidson between 6 a.m. on Oct. 5 and 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 26.

Crash: On Oct. 25 at about 9:20 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 61 in Port Clinton. Zachary Hertz, 21, Schuylkill Haven, was driving north when his car struck a deer. The car had disabling damage and was towed.

Theft: On Oct. 24 at about 2:30 p.m., state police were dispatched to the Giant Food Store, 1544 Route 61 Hwy. S. in North Manheim Township for a reported retail theft. A man gathered merchandise outside the store and left without paying for them. The investigation is continuing.

Crash: On Oct. 23 at about 9:15 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Church Road in Wayne Township. Georgina Harrynamine, 48, Islip Terrace, N.Y., hit the guiderail of a bridge, rolled over and landed in the Little Swatara Creek. The driver was transported to Geisinger St. Luke’s, Orwigsburg, for her injuries. She was charged with driving under the influence and related traffic offenses.

Crash: On Oct. 23 at about 8:10 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Suedberg Road at Interstate 81 in Pine Grove Township. Sendral Cloiseau, 55, Norwalk, Conn., was driving a tractor-trailer and attempted to turn left. He failed to yield to traffic and struck a car driven by Victoria Moore, 32, Broome, N.Y. There were no injuries.

Crash: On Oct. 19 at about 1:30 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Tremont Road in Tremont Township. Sergely Moya Ortega, 27, Mount Carmel, lost control of his pickup truck and hit an embankment. There were no injuries. The pickup had disabling damage and was towed.

False Identification: On Oct. 18 at about 9:30 p.m., state police responded to Lovers Lane in Pine Grove Township for a report of a suspicious person. Police found that the Pine Grove man had a felony arrest warrant and provided the false name “Michael Scott” to troopers. The Pine Grove man was properly identified and charged. The case is pending court.

Crash: On Oct. 18 at about 5:15 p.m., state police responded to an accident on West Adamsdale Road in North Manheim Township. Tamara George, 39, Cressona, struck a deer, causing disabling front-end damage to her SUV, which was towed.

Crash: On Oct. 4 at about 1 a.m., state police responded to a crash on 11 SW Lawn Road in Branch Township. Tyler Novack, 18, Pottsville, crashed his vehicle into a tree. He was charged with drunken-driving
