South Schuylkill News Police Reports, Nov. 16, 2023

The following information is taken from police reports and court records.

Crash: State police responded to an accident on Swopes Valley Road west of Ravens Way in Pine Grove Township on Nov. 6 at about 3 p.m. Linda Minnich, 75, Pine Grove, crashed into a tree. Minnich and her passenger, Rosemary Clemens, 85, Pine Grove were transported to Hershey Medical Center by Pine Grove EMS for their injuries. Minnich’s SUV was towed.

Crash: On Nov. 6 at about 4:20 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 61 near Market Street in West Brunswick Township. Brett Schugt, 24, Manor, Westmoreland County, hit a deer. Schugt was not injured. His pickup truck was towed.

Crash: On Nov. 3 at about 8:10 a.m., state police responded to an accident on Gold Mine about 1/2 mile east of Clarks Valley Road in Porter Township. Ann Shutt, 47, Muir, hit a deer. Shutt was not injured. Her SUV was towed.

Crash: On Oct. 24 at about 11:20 p.m., state police Haven responded to an accident on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township. Pablo Baerga-Lebron, 49, Reading, struck a deer. The driver was not injured, but the vehicle suffered disabling damage.

Crash: On Oct. 22 at about 3:30 a.m., state police responded to an accident in Hegins Township at 1201 W. Main Street. Cameron Carlin, 19, Hegins, left the road, jumped a curb and struck two parked vehicles, a boulder and a utility pole, shearing the pole. No injuries were reported. Carlin’s vehicle was towed.
