State police looking for escapee from Lebanon prison

State police are seeking the whereabouts of a Lebanon County jail inmate who failed to return from work release over the weekend.

State police from the Jonestown station were contacted Saturday after Terance Brent, 37, failed to return to Lebanon County Correctional Facility from his work release assignment.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is wanted on escape charges.

Brent was last known to be wearing a blue/green jacket, jeans and work boots. He is described as being about 6 feet 3 inches and 220 pounds with a shaved a head.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the state police Jonestown station at 717-856-2194.

Brent was serving a 9- to 23-month sentence after pleading guilty in Lebanon County Court in April 2021 to escape in October 2020, according to court records.
