Step Into the Spotlight: CHOR Youth and Family Services to Host Open Casting Call in Reading

From CHOR Youth and Family Services

Reading is stepping into the spotlight! CHOR Youth and Family Services is hosting a unique casting call on Tuesday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and they’re looking for local talent to join their team.

Jill Troutman, Senior Director of Advancement at CHOR, shared the excitement: “We know there are stars right here in Reading just waiting to be discovered. This is their chance to showcase their skills and meet face-to-face with our directors at the Cardy Day Academy (Spring and Nicolls Street).”

Candidates are encouraged to bring their resume and valid PA Driver’s License to audition for a variety of open roles. From professionals to mentors, cafeteria staff to housekeeping, CHOR is looking to fill over 20 positions with top talent.

And here’s the best part: “Our directors from all 35 programs and services will be there, ready to meet, audition, and answer questions. For some roles, we’ll even be making offers on the spot and starting the hiring paperwork right then and there,” added Troutman.

Interested candidates can preview opportunities at buildingkidslives.org/careers or follow CHOR on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Indeed (search: Children’s Home of Reading).

Questions may be directed to Jill Troutman, Senior Director of Advancement at CHOR, at 610-478-8266 ext. 1249 or to Alex at Aambriz@choreading.org.

Don’t miss your chance to join a team that’s building brighter futures—one role at a time.
