Step Up for People With Disabilities: 5th Annual Harmony Walk to Benefit ProBerco

Lace up your sneakers, and join ProBerco and the Reading Royals for the fifth annual Harmony Walk on Sunday, March 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (before the 3 p.m. game), at the Santander Arena. We’re excited to feature this 5K event with members of the Reading Royals Hockey Team and Slapshot. Together, we can pave the way for a more inclusive and supportive future for individuals with disabilities and their families. Learn more on our event website created by Bell Media, Harmony Walk.

As part of the 5K, we encourage everyone to aim for 30 laps, but the most important thing is to get moving! Whether you run, walk, roll, or stroll, every step counts. Embrace the journey at your own pace and be part of this inspiring event. Let’s make every lap a celebration of our collective spirit!

Highlights of This Year’s Event:

• Inclusive atmosphere: Designed to be accessible to all, regardless of ability. Whether walking, rolling, or strolling, everyone is encouraged to participate.
• Family-friendly: Bring your entire family for an unforgettable experience.
• Musical entertainment: D.J. B. Lee is in the house to entertain and keep us stepping into unity to the funky beats. Let’s dance, move, and celebrate together!
• Team posters: Celebrate inclusion and diversity with vibrant team posters! Showcase your team’s spirit and commitment to creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
• Photo booth: Show off your swag and capture the moment with your team at our Photo Booth! Strike a pose, have fun, and create lasting memories together.
• Collect feet for each lap: A fun way to track your progress.
• Fundraising opportunities: Participants are encouraged to raise funds to support ProBerco and empower people with disabilities to live the lives of their choice in our communities.

Incentives for Walkers and Fundraisers:

• Every walker: Entered into drawing for a commemorative Reading Royals Jersey.
• Raise $100: Get a free T-shirt and entered into the Jersey drawing (based on each individual walker, even if part of a team).
• Raise $500: Get a free T-shirt, four Reading Royals Game Vouchers, and entered into the Jersey drawing (based on each individual walker, even if part of a team).
• Top fundraiser by March 20: Receive four Bench Warmer Passes, a free T-shirt, entered into the Jersey drawing, and four vouchers to see the Reading Royals.

Registration Information:

• Individual registration: $20 per person.
• Team registration: $15 per person (two or more walkers).
• Early bird registration (before March 10): $15 per person or $10 per person when registering as part of a team.
