Tec Centro Berks is proud to announce the appointment of its new Executive Committee. This dynamic group of leaders will guide the organization through its next chapter of growth and impact. With deep roots in community development, economic inclusion, and public service, the newly appointed board members bring the expertise and vision necessary to further Tec Centro Berks’ mission of expanding career and education pathways for Berks County’s Latino and underserved communities.
Jonathan Encarnacion has been appointed Board Chair. As the Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer at Community First Fund Federal Credit Union, Encarnacion brings a wealth of leadership experience in finance, healthcare, and government affairs. He has served in high-level roles at UPMC Health Plan and has been appointed to multiple gubernatorial commissions, including the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs. Encarnacion also chairs the Berks Latino Workforce Development Corporation, the parent organization of Tec Centro Berks of which he is a founding member. He continues to champion inclusive economic strategies across the Commonwealth.
Dayana Groff, Vice Chair, is a founding board member whose career has been shaped by her global upbringing and passion for people-first workforce solutions. A seasoned Human Resources Business Partner at Alpek Polyester USA, Groff specializes in building inclusive, growth-oriented programs within manufacturing environments. Her leadership at Tec Centro Berks is informed by both personal experience and professional insight. She ensures that the voices of working families remain central to the organization’s mission.
David Myers, Treasurer, currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the Berks County Community Foundation, coordinating initiatives that uplift community assets and economic development. His extensive background includes leading the Berks Alliance, which played a pivotal role in advancing the region’s infrastructure and entrepreneurial support. Myers has also held senior roles in state government and higher education. He is a trusted steward of public resources and a strategic advocate for regional progress.
Eddit Marmolejos-Gil, Secretary, is a Design Technician at Muhlenberg Greene Architects and a licensed architecture professional from the Dominican Republic. She brings both technical skill and community vision to the board, supporting Tec Centro’s bilingual workforce training efforts. In addition to her role at Tec Centro Berks, Marmolejos-Gil serves on multiple local boards, including the City of Reading’s Equal Business Opportunities Board. She helps shape inclusive policies for economic development.

Tec Centro Berks continues to serve as a catalyst for economic mobility. It offers bilingual career training, adult education, and wraparound support services to help individuals gain meaningful employment. With this new Executive Committee in place, the organization is well-positioned to expand its reach and deepen its impact throughout the region.
