From Reading Area Community College
The Miller Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 2025 season, presented by Herbein CPAs + Advisors. Featuring a slate of events that are a blend of diverse music genres, theater, and comedy, promising to inspire, entertain, and connect our community.
The Miller Center for the Arts is proud to present an unforgettable night of laughter and celebration with Nancy Norton: Nurse’s Night Out on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m. This special performance marks a milestone as we honor 50 years of nursing education at Reading Area Community College (RACC).
Nancy Norton, an award-winning comedian, a fifth-generation nurse, and self-proclaimed “healthcare humorist,” brings her unique, uplifting perspective to the stage in a performance tailor-made for those who know the demands — and the joys — of caregiving. Her high-energy comedy blends real-life hospital stories with sharp wit and compassion, offering a much-needed night of joy for everyone in the healthcare field.
In celebration of this historic nursing anniversary, we invite all local healthcare workers to join us for this special evening. We especially encourage all nursing alumni from RACC to come reconnect, celebrate their profession, and be recognized for their incredible service to our community.
“We can’t think of a better way to honor the legacy of RACC’s nursing program than by laughing together with someone who’s lived it,” said Megan Schappell, RACC Director of Special Events and Miller Center General Manager. “Nancy Norton’s show will be a hilarious tribute to the many lives touched by our graduates over the last five decades.”
Tickets for Nancy Norton: Nurse’s Night Out are available now at millercenter.racc.edu/nancy-norton or by calling the box office at 610-607-6205.
Come celebrate 50 years of nursing excellence at RACC — with laughter, community, and gratitude.
