Fall into 4-H Project Day: 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Romano 4-H Center of Chester County, 1841 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook. Penn State Extension Chester County 4-H expressive arts projects for youth to complete 2-3 projects – leather work, string art, a guard craft, and small engines.  Use artisan tools, arts and crafts media, explore 2 and 4 stroke engines. Used Bicycle and Sewing Machine Drive: 12 to 3 p.m., rain or shine, Chester County Solid Waste Authority, 7224 Division Highway, Narvon. Collecting adult & kids’ bikes and sewing machines to send to Thailand, Albania, Tanzania, and Guatemala.  Bikes should be rust free. No children’s trikes, but bikes with flat tires in need of some repair are accepted. Portable sewing machines should be in working condition. A donation toward shipping costs is necessary for our continued success (suggested $20 per donated item, minimum $10). All material and monetary contributions are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided on site. Neighbors Weekly Women’s Ministry

Oct. 5:  Eric Kantor will share about Anchored Ministries based in Elverson at Neighbors held at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., Morgantown from 9:15 to 11 a.m. with free childcare.

Oct. 12: My Favorite Things!  A fun morning of sharing three different favorite things – each valued under $5.  Can be homemade, baked, a book, a plant, etc… held at Conestoga Mennonite Church, Morgantown under the Neighbors program.  All women are welcome.  Check us out on Facebook.
