Tuesday’s Berks County girls tennis results: Antietam, Daniel Boone score wins

Marissa DeYoung, Cassidy Nuss and Jordan Parker won in singles as Boyertown defeated Twin Valley 7-0 in a high school girls tennis match on Tuesday.

At first singles, DeYoung defeated Maggie Stoltzfus 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Nuss beat Meadow Mindziak 6-4, 6-4, and Parker needed three sets to beat Addison Ketterer 6-3, 5-7, 6-2.

Daniel Boone 4, Pottstown 3

Daniel Boone won three of the four doubles matches to score a 4-3 high school girls tennis victory over Pottstown on Tuesday.

Anne McClelland and Kendra Schaffer, Grace Glass and Olivia Ferguson and Tirzeh Fekelman and Leah Rudinsky won their doubles matches for Daniel Boone.

Daniel Boone’s Puttavan Inthaphone won at third singles.

Antietam 4, Reading High 3

Antietam won three of the five singles matches, including one by forfeit, to defeat Reading High 4-3 in a Berks high school girls tennis match on Tuesday.

Layna DiSarro and Ismely Ortiz won singles matches for Antietam.

For Reading, Haylee Ortega and Angelina Penaloza won singles matches.

Reading had to forfeit the fifth singles match because it did not have enough players.

The teams split the doubles matches.
