Twin Valley defeats Lampeter-Strasburg in District 3 Class 2A girls lacrosse quarterfinal

Anna Givens and Kylie Duke each had four goals and one assist to lead Twin Valley to a 13-4 win over second-seeded Lampeter-Strasburg in a District 3 Class 2A girls lacrosse quarterfinal Thursday at Lancaster.

The defending champion and seventh-seeded Raiders (16-6), who also clinched a berth in the PIAA Tournament, will play at sixth-seeded York Catholic — an 8-7 winner over Wyomissing Thursday — in a semifinal on Tuesday, time to be announced.

Hadley Munn had five assists for the Raiders, including the 100th of her career.

Jessie Robinette had two goals, Amelia Wood a goal and an assist, and Sam Rhoads and Kaitlyn Davis each a goal for the Berks champ Raiders against the Pioneers (17-2). Paige Borkowski made four saves.

Twin Valley led 9-3 at halftime.
