Vehicle struck by gunfire during road rage incident on Wyomissing highway

Wyomissing police are investigating a road rage incident in which shots were fired from one vehicle at another.

The incident happened about 2:45 p.m. Monday on the highway that runs through the Berkshire Mall area.

Police learned an unidentified man who was in the front passenger seat of a black Honda sedan fired a handgun as both vehicles were westbound from Route 12 in Reading onto the merge with southbound Route 222/westbound Route 422.

The victim’s vehicle was struck by two rounds. No one was injured.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Wyomissing police at 610-375-6102.
