Wanted in Berks: May 12, 2024

The Berks County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the following fugitives:

Ali Abdur-Rahman
Ali Abdur-Rahman

• Ali Abdur-Rahman, 38, whose last known address was in the first block of Eaat Broad Street, Shillington, is wanted on endangering the welfare of children and simple assault charges.

Police stated that on Jan. 10, Abdur-Rahman got into an argument with his 14-year-old child and assaulted him, causing marks and a cut on his neck. Abdur-Rahman fled the residence, leaving behind a newborn baby and an 11-year-old child. He is also wanted on a criminal bench warrant on charges of driving under the influence.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches and 170 pounds.

Jeremiah Colon

• Jeremiah Colon, 18, whose last known address was in the 4800 block of Wentzel Avenue, Muhlenberg Township, is wanted on aggravated assault, strangulation, false imprisonment and theft by unlawful taking charges.

Police stated that on March 28, Colon went into the victim’s residence through a window and grabbed the victim’s phone. Colon began looking through the phone, then started punching the female victim in the face and head. Colon threw the victim onto her bed and began to strangle her to the point she was blacking out. When the victim managed to get out of the bed, he pushed her against a wall, smacking her head against it and biting her on the back while threatening to kill her and everyone in the house. Reading police filed charges that day.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches and 160 pounds.
