The westbound lanes of the Warren Street Bypass were closed Sunday morning due to a multivehicle crash near the River Road exit.
Crews were dispatched about 3 a.m. for a crash with fire and a rolled vehicle, and found several vehicles involved, according to emergency reports.
There was one person with severe head trauma, who was later transported to Reading Hospital, according to emergency reports.
By 5 a.m., fire police were summoned to divert traffic during a police investigation. The lanes were opened about 9 a.m.
