Wednesday’s high school highlights: Twin Valley baseball tops Fleetwood

Owen Rhoads and Logan Crunkleton each went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Twin Valley in a 7-4 high school baseball victory over Fleetwood on Wednesday.

The Raiders are 7-0, 10-3.

For the Tigers (3-5, 8-7), Aiden Soumas went 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

• Jack Froelich went 1-for-1 with two RBIs and Aiden Curley went 2-for-3 with one RBI for Berks Catholic in a 13-3 win over Wyomissing.

The Saints are 7-1, 9-2.

For the Spartans (4-3, 5-8), Ryan Graham went 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI.

• Chase Yenser went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and Ryan Kriebel went 3-for-4 with four RBIs Danile Boone in a 14-4 victory over Conrad Weiser.

The Blazers are 3-4, 8-6.

For the Scouts (2-6, 6-8), Gavin Wagner and Evan Miller each went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Softball

Maggie Krall went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Karli Arbegast went 2-for-3 with a home run for Twin Valley in a 7-2 softball win over Fleetwood.

The Raiders improved to 5-1, 6-5.

For the Tigers (3-4, 5-7), Kylie Krauss hit a home run and had two RBIs.

• Elizabeth Schaeffer homered in Conrad Weiser’s 15-0 win over Daniel Boone that ended after four innings because of the 10-run rule.

Alex Trevena and Makayla Reichard chipped in triples for the Scouts (7-5, 4-3).

Daniel Boone is 0-9, 0-6.

• Hailey Strunk went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Hailie Edwards and Kylah Reading each went 2-for-2 with two RBIs for Hamburg in a 12-2 win over Oley Valley.

The Hawks are 8-0 Berks III, 14-1.

For the Lynx (0-6 Berks IV, 4-8), Alexis Ott went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

• Ashley Noecker went 4-for-4 with three triples and three RBIs and pitcher Brianna Bauscher struck out five as Kutztown defeated Wyomissing 15-1.

The Cougars are 5-2, 8-5.

For the Spartans (4-4, 7-8), Kyla Lytle had two of her team’s four hits.

• Chloe Heckman went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs and Chloe Shirey had a three-run RBI double as Tulpehocken defeated Antietam 18-6.

The Trojans are 4-3, 8-6.

For the Mounts (0-6, 0-11), Yalexis Galan went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
