West Lawn managed just three hits in falling to Pennridge 1-0 in a winner’s bracket game of the Pennsylvania Region 2 Legion Tournament Sunday at Boyertown’s Bear Stadium..
The Berks champion Owls will face host Boyertown, which stayed alive with a 7-5 win over North Parkland in eight innings, in an elimination game Monday at Bear Stadium at 1:30 p.m.
Will Slamm hit a home run and pitched a three-hitter for Pennridge. He struck out six and did not issue a walk.
Slamm hit his home run with two outs in the third.
Lucas Gensemer allowed one run on six hits in six innings for West Lawn. He walked none and struck out four.
Nick Crocrona hit a double for the Owls.
West Lawn defeated South Parkland 4-3 in 11 innings in the opening round Saturday.
