The seventh annual West Reading French Fry Fest is an outdoor event on Saturday, Aug. 16, showcasing each participating restaurant or vendor’s take on everyone’s favorite food: French fries! By popular request, Visit West Reading has expanded the fest to the 600 and 700 blocks of Penn Avenue, closing two blocks to traffic. With the best French fries and 60+ local vendors, the West Reading French Fry Fest has something for everyone — an amazing summer event that continues to grow in size and popularity!
Admission is free, and French fries are pay-as-you-go! This is a cash-friendly event, and there will be ATMs on site. Event proceeds benefit West Reading Recreation. Be sure to stop by their tent near 6th and Penn to enjoy music and vibes by Rick*.
