Wilson grad Reagan Underwood has been selected to the 18-player roster to represent the United States in field hockey at the 2023 Junior Pan American Championships, U.S. Field Hockey announced Tuesday.
Underwood, a junior at Liberty, had been named to the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Field Hockey Team for the second straight year in January. Following a training camp last weekend in Charlotte, N.C., coach Tracey Paul selected the JPAC roster.
The Junior Pan American Championships will be held April 10-18 in St. Michael, Barbados. The top three teams will qualify for the 2023 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, which will be held in December in Chile.
Underwood, a midfielder at Liberty, had eight assists and one defensive save in 20 games last fall, all starts, for the Big East champion Flames (12-8), who qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
