Wilson to face Hamburg in boys final, Exeter to take on Gov. Mifflin in girls final in BCIAA team bowling tournament

Wilson will face Hamburg in the boys final and Exeter will take on Gov. Mifflin in the girls final following BCIAA team bowling tournament semifinal victories Wednesday at Hiester Lanes.

The championship matches will be Thursday at Hiester Lanes at 3:15 p.m.

In boys, the two-time defending champion Bulldogs defeated Exeter 3,379-2,977, and the Hawks beat Antietam 2,884-2,792.

James Nolan rolled a 735 series to lead Berks I champion Wilson. Tyler Wentzel had a 705. Keith Lerch rolled a 659 for the Berks I third-place Eagles.

Ashton Haag led Berks II third-place Hamburg with a 631 series. Dakota Pawlik rolled a 719 for the Berks II champion Mounts.

In girls, the Eagles defeated Daniel Boone 2,600-2,243, and the Mustangs beat Conrad Weiser 2,668-1,969.

Kayla Kulp led Berks I third-place Exeter with a 643 series. Kristin Fitzcharles rolled a 524 to lead the Berks I champion Blazers.

Valleri Addis rolled a 634 series and Alisha Hess a 611 for Berks I runner-up  Mifflin. Courtney Britton led Berks II champ Weiser with a 542.
