Wyomissing and Wilson will play for District 3 football championships on Saturday afternoon.
Wyomissing (12-0) will host Boiling Springs (11-1) at 1 p.m. Saturday as it plays for its third straight Class 3A title and 10th district championship overall.
Wilson (9-3) will play for its first District 3 title since 2016 and eighth overall when it plays at Harrisburg (11-1) at 1 p.m. in the Class 6A championship game.
No. 2 Harrisburg advanced to the championship game with a 32-10 win over No. 6 Hempfield on Saturday. Fifth-seeded Wilson knocked off defending champion and top-seeded Central York 14-11 Friday night for its second road win of the playoffs.
Wilson defeated Harrisburg in the 2012 District 3 Class 4A championship game.
Those are two of five games involving Berks teams this weekend in the District 3 football playoffs.
In Class 5A semifinals, defending champion and No. 1 seed Gov. Mifflin (9-0) will host No. 4 Spring Grove (10-1) and No. 7 Exeter (8-3) will play at No. 6 Cedar Cliff (10-2). Both games are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m.
In a Class 4A semifinal, No. 4 Berks Catholic (7-4) will play at No. 1 Bishop McDevitt (9-1) Friday at 7 p.m.
Oley Valley and Twin Valley will continue their quests for PIAA field hockey championships Tuesday with semifinal games at neutral sites.
In the Class 2A semifinals, District 3 champion Twin Valley (25-2) will face District 11 champion Southern Lehigh (23-0) at Exeter at 5:30 p.m. In the second game at Exeter, District 1 champion Gwynedd Mercy will face District 3 runner-up Mechanicsburg.
The winners will play for the PIAA Class 2A title Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Whitehall.
Whitehall will be the site for the PIAA Class 1A doubleheader with District 3 champion Oley Valley (23-2) facing District 2 runner-up Wyoming Area (19-3) in the second game at 6 p.m. In the opener at 4 p.m., District 2 champion and defending state champion Wyoming Seminary will play District 4 runner-up Line Mountain.
The winners will return to Whitehall for the PIAA Class 1A championship game Saturday at 10 a.m.
