Yocum Institute group exhibit features textile art by six artists

Yocum Institute for Arts Education hosts “Unraveled: Textile Art Explored,” a group exhibition of artwork by area artists

With an Opening Reception held on July 14, “Unraveled” will be on exhibit in the Holleran Gallery until Aug. 28.

Unraveled: Textile Art Explored features artwork by artists Beth Carson, Karen Glass, Susan Golombiski, Nadia Pochan Astral Attic Art, Martha Ressler and Jane Runyeon. A variety of textile works from these six unique artists are on display. The discussion revolves around each artist’s interpretation of the versatile techniques involved in being a textile artist.

Yocum Institute for Arts Education, Holleran Gallery, is located at 3000 Penn Ave., West Lawn. Holleran Gallery Hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday closed. The exhibit is free to attend.
