Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue (DVGRR), 60 Vera Cruz Road, East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, will hold its monthly open house from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees can meet the dogs available for adoption, take a tour of the facility and shop at DVGRR’s retail store. Staff is on hand to answer questions. No admission charge. No photos. Hamburg Grange #2103 homemade chicken potpie dinner, Hamburg High School, 711 Windsor St., Hamburg, 4-7 p.m. Cost: adults, $12: take-out meals and quarts,$10; Children 3-8, $5; 2 and under, free. Gift card bingo sponsored by the Lions Club of Boyertown, Keystone Fire Company, 240 N. Walnut St., Boyertown, doors open at 1 p.m.; games start at 2. All proceeds benefit local charities along with sight/hearing/diabetes research. Food will be available for purchase to benefit the fire company. A suggested donation of $5 per dog will be collected. Raffles, food and additional games follow the egg hunt. This is open to all human- and canine-friendly dogs.
