Authorities identified a Hereford Township man as the victim of a fatal crash that happened on Gravel Pike, Friday afternoon.
Russell L. Badman, 33, of Hereford was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in the 1100 block of Gravel Pike, also known as Route 29, state police said.
According to troopers:
A vehicle driven by Wendalyn C. Kutz, 53, of Zionsville was traveling south on Gravel Pike when she tried to negotiate a right hand curve, entered the northbound lane of travel and struck Badman’s vehicle.
Kutz was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for unknown injuries.
A passenger in Badman’s vehicle, Kadin D. Seasholtz, 20, of East Greenville was also transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for unknown injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
The crash was reported about 3:50 p.m. a short distance from the Montgomery County line. Route 29 was closed at Route 100 for an extended period as state police investigated.
