The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance will hold its 108th Annual Dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. at Santander Arena. The dinner will celebrate the Greater Reading business community with the Greater Reading Top Business Awards, the Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards and the Albert Boscov Economic Development Award. Berks LaunchBox presents Introduction to Grant Writing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. either in person or via webinar. Matthew Serio, former Director of Creative Opportunities for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, hosts an introductory grant workshop where he will discuss grant writing basics to get you started in funding your passion project. Tuesday, Sept. 14
The Small Business Resource Association is presenting another SBRA Tune Up Tuesday workshop entitled “How to Power Up Your Website” from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. virtually on Zoom. This workshop is presented by Alan Robezzoli of Power Marketing International, and will focus on the features your website must have to drive traffic to your business. Registration: https://www.sbrassociation.com/#EVENTS. The Berks County Chamber of SHRM will meet from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Berkshire Country Club. Attorney Andrew Howe will present his annual HR Legislative & Legal update. The Small Business Resource Association presents “2022 Business Owners’ Wealth Checkup” from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. virtually on Zoom. This workshop is presented by Paul Marrella of Marrella Financial Group, and will focus on the importance of reviewing retirement, estate and succession plans as well as financially surviving a health crisis. Wednesday, Oct. 13
The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance presents the Third Building Berks Awards Expo from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Reading. The event will spotlight and celebrate innovation and economic growth and development through construction projects in Greater Reading. Every second Tuesday
The Berks County Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management holds its monthly meeting via Zoom from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Each month will feature a speaker presenting a different, relevant HR topic.
