Popular local indie rock and folk band Frog Holler performs in the 2025 Borough of Kutztown Summer Concert Series in the Park on Aug. 9.
Held rain or shine, the free concert will be held in the covered bandshell at Kutztown Park.
In existence for 25-plus years, Frog Holler has grown in popularity and is always a crowd pleaser.
Under the leadership of Darren Schlappich of Kutztown, the band performs original songs, most written by Schlappich and band members. The band consists of Schlappich on vocals and lead guitar, Mike Lavdanski on banjo and vocal harmonies, Daniel Bower on drums, John Kilgore on guitar, Cory Heller on keyboards, and Josh Sceurman on bass.
Expected to be well attended, come early for a seat in the covered bandshell or bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit in the lawn area.
The park concession stand Saucony Café will be open for food and drinks before and during the show.
