Fulfilling a dog's bucket list: Rescue dog diagnosed with terminal cancer eats out at 1787 Brewing Co.

Steve MacBeth of 1787 Brewing Company served an unusual dinner guest during the pub’s Friends and Family Night on May 11.

Safyre, a rescue dog diagnosed with terminal cancer, was served a doggie plate of chicken. Eating out at a restaurant is part of her bucket list.

Foster Mom Carrie Castner, from Easton, of Outcast Rescue based in Lehigh Valley, explained that the 2-year-old mixed breed dog was rescued from an actively high-kill shelter in Philadelphia.
