Oct. 20, Halloween on Penn with Mayor Eddie Morán: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., 500 block of Penn Street. Live DJ, kids treats, candy, job fair, service booths. All children receive a goodie bag.

Oct. 22, The Scout Pack and Troops of Antietam and Exeter townships Trunk or Treat:  6:30 to 8 p.m., at Breakfast Hut, 4170 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township. Prizes for most original trunk, scariest trunk and funniest trunk.

Oct. 23, Syndicate Society Trunk or Treat and car show: 1 to 8 p.m., Homestead Truck and Auto, 100 E. Baumstown Road, Exeter Township. Also includes burnout and audio competitions, awards for most-modded favorite and best Halloween decorated vehicle. Vehicles must register for free at the show and bring a bucket of candy for the trunk-or-treaters.

Oct. 23, Kempton Community Center Trunk or Treat: 6 to 8 p.m., 83 Community Center Drive, Albany Township. Gate opens at 4 p.m. for trunk set up. Free. Candy, hayride, food and games.

Oct. 24, Benefit Hub U.S. Corp. Safe Trick or Treat: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Leesport Farmers Market, 312 Gernants Church Road, Ontelaunee Township.

Oct. 27, Trick-or-Treat Pumpkin Hayride: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daniel Boone Homestead, activities include face painting, crafts, corn holes, bouncy houses, hay rides, as well as live music, food vendors and more.  In addition, the township is also holding a food drive for the local food bank and a collection of toys for Toys for Tots.

Oct. 27, Trunk or Treat: 6 to 9 p.m., Kulptown Fire Company, Birdsboro-Union Fire Dept. South Station, 1082 Chestnut St., Union Township. Participating trunks need to be parked by 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 27, Maidencreek Place Spooktacular Halloween Trunk or Treat: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Maidencreek Place parking lot, 105 Dries Road, Maidencreek Township. Must RSVP by Oct. 24 to Trinity Harris at 610-926-7600 or tharris@enlivant.com.

Oct. 30, Rodale Institute Organic Halloween: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Rodale Institute Garden Store & visitor Center, 611 Siegfriedale Road, Maxatawny Township. Trick or treat in costume an participate in a scavenger hunt and fall crafts. Admission is $8 per family.

Oct. 31, Trick or treat at the Reading Public Museum: Registration required, will be held for children ages 2 to 12, for members beginning at 9 a.m. and for non-members at 10 a.m. Craft and candy treats. No full-head costume face coverings or weapons (real or fake). Sign up by calling 610-371-5850, ext. 227, or online at www.readingpublicmuseum.org/halloween. Free for museum members and a child accompanying them; regular admission fees apply for others.
