The all-new North American tour of Blue Man Group returns to Philadelphia for the first time in nearly 10 years when the popular entertainers arrive Dec. 27–31 at the Miller Theater.
“For fans of the unexpected, the joyful, the mesmerizing, and the musical, Blue Man Group is the answer,” said Frances Egler, Senior Director of Programming and Presentations on the Kimmel Cultural Campus. “An award-winning sensation, these bald, blue men are back in Philadelphia by popular demand after almost a decade, just in time for the holiday season.”
This tour will bring everything that has made Blue Man Group famous. Expect signature drumming, colorful moments of creativity, and quirky comedy. The show will be featuring pulsing, original music, custom-made instruments, surprise audience interaction and hilarious absurdity.
Blue Man Group is the global entertainment phenomenon, known for its award-winning theatrical productions, iconic characters and multiple creative explorations. The performances are euphoric celebrations of human connection through art, music, comedy and non-verbal communication. Since debuting at New York’s Astor Place Theatre in 1991, the live show has expanded to additional domestic residencies in Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas, an international residency in Berlin, and multiple North American and world tours, reaching more than 35 million people worldwide.
