Jake Patterson, a 21-year-old man accused of kidnapping 13-year-old Jayme Closs and killing her parents in Barron, Wisconsin, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday, telling his family, “I love you,” moments after he was ordered to stand trial.
