Zacchues Hobbs scored 25 points and Shykeef Daniels had 14 as Elizabeth City State beat the Kutztown men’s basketball team 74-68 in the PSAC/CIAA Challenge Saturday at Keystone Arena.
The Vikings (1-1) overcame a 38-34 deficit early in the second half to hand the Golden Bears (0-2) their second loss of the weekend.
Former Reading High standout Wesley Butler scored 21 points for Kutztown, Michael Smith III had 13 and Moe Williams had 11.
Elizabeth City State outrebounded the Bears 37-21.
