Letter: An ode to the beauty around us in Berks

Editor:
Have you ever seen Berks County when the leaves begin to fall? The patchwork leaves me breathless as I marvel at it all.

The colored mountains, once so green, begin to take a hue of golden crimson shades of light framed in a sky so blue.

Please come and walk our many paths from country to the town; the forests are so thick and lush and full of nature sounds.

You’ll so enjoy the vistas from the view on Skyline Drive; the city down below you is a town that’s full of pride.

Our waterways are lovely as they ebb and flow with life, like sparkling ribbons in the Earth that’s carved with nature’s knife.

And please see our Pagoda perched atop our great Mount Penn; adorned with golden dragons paying homage to all men.
