Why are the Berks County commissioners moving some departments and agencies to a new campus in Mohnton?
There are plenty of empty buildings in the area of the Berks County Services Center that are available. I hope Reading’s administration puts up some kind of protest, but I guess it’s already decided.
These commissioners already should be held responsible for their slow response in distributing the COVID-19 vaccine. While neighboring counties had their vaccine clinics up and running as early as February the official Berks location only started in May. The next time there is an election for their seats, I hope the incumbents are soundly defeated.
