Letter: Exeter supervisors wrong to fight taxpayer advocate

Editor:

I see the Exeter Township supervisors have gone to court in an attempt to stop Supervisor David Hughes, who is working and looking out for the taxpayers he represents (“Judge seeks more detail in posting suit,” Reading Eagle, Feb. 8). It is time for taxpayers to question the supervisors who keep going after Hughes. Why don’t we ask them to explain themselves in public and not behind closed doors?

They are determined to get Hughes out because he is for saving taxpayer money and improving the township, and he is not in the clique. This is another way for the other supervisors to shut up Hughes so the taxpayers don’t really know what’s going on. It’s Exeter tax dollars wasted again.
