I’d like to thank the Reading Eagle for putting out a breaking news alert Monday regarding a “boil water” advisory for part of Muhlenberg Township. Unfortunately many of the residents were with little or no water for the entire weekend and probably didn’t boil their water.
Many Muhlenberg residents were very frustrated by the lack of notice and information posted by township and water authority officials online. Muhlenberg has a history of water issues along Route 61.
What does it take for officials in the township to learn how to notify residents in a timely manner?
